Suntech Scoota Plus Wheelchairs use Sealed Lead Acid batteries (SLA). SLA batteries do not charge quickly. Typical charge time is 8-16 hours. If you depend on your Suntech Scoota Plus wheelchair to be fully operational at all times, we recommend that you invest in two batteries and one of our Battery Tender chargers so you will always have a spare.What can I do to lengthen my wheelchair battery life?
