UPS Backup is designed to protect our servers, hubs, switches, and our phone system in the server room and also critical desktops, such as supervisors and fax machines in case of power outage to the network. Most UPS systems generate independent power with the use of ups batteries which are a configuration of sealed lead acids. Since mobility isn’t usually an issue, lead acid UPS batteries are the most economical method of providing backup power.

UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge
Over time UPS batteries will wear out. This leads to loss of power capacity and runtime. It is recommended that you replace your UPS battery every 2-5 years. Please refer to owner’s manual for specific replacement cycle of your ups batteries. It is critical to use high quality ups replacement batteries to avoid damage to the UPS backup system and to prevent hazardous condition. That is why AtBatt.com carries only top brands of lead acid batteries which have UL, CSA, VDE, and/or other safety certification. AtBatt.com provides a 1-year warranty on each UPS replacement battery cartridge including any wires and connectors. All connections are made with high current gas-tight crimps for high reliability and durability.
UPS Battery Recycling Program
AtBatt.com recycles used ups backup batteries at no charge to its customers. With each purchase of a UPS replacement battery from AtBatt.com, we will recycle your old batteries at no cost to you. Please properly package and ship your old batteries to our location on your receipt. If freight cost on your lead acid batteries is a factor, your local recycling center can recycle your lead acids at $.35 ~ $.50 per pound plus nominal pick up charge. If you decide to recycle your battery through your local recycling center, please send us a copy of the recycle receipt with your order number. We will credit your account or send you a reimbursement check in amount equal to $.35 per pound of your original order.
