Watch Battery Replacement Guide
Step #1 : First, look at the back of your watch and determine which picture matches the picture below.  If you do not see a match please refer to a professional watchmaker.

Snap Back Replacement Guide
Tool Needed:  Prying tool, non-metal tweezers, small screwdriver, battery tester, cleaning cloth, screw holding tweezers, watch closing hand press, polishing cloth.
 
Step #2: Place watch in holding case
Clamp the watch in the case holding vise by opening the two halves of the black and placing the watch in the middle.  Gently replase or tighten the two halves to that they hold the watch firmly.

 
If the watch band does’t unbuckle, separate the band by pressing down with a pointed tool to remove the spring loaded pin that connects the band to the clasp or watch.  
 
 
 
 
 
Step #3 Remove the back
Remove the back.  Locate the groove between the round back and the watchcase.  Gently insert the case knife beneath the lip which is usually opposite the stem or the 9 o’clock position.
Work the knife into the groove between the round back and the watchcase.
Twist the tool to snap off the back. 
 
 
 
 
Step #4 Remove the battery
Tools needed: Fine-Point tweezers, small screwdriver, plasict tweezers.
IMPORTANTE NOTE:  Before removing the battery(s), be sure to note which side is up.  You will need to put your new watch battery in exactly the same way.  Watch batteries may be held in by small metal clips.  If so, carefully follw the directsion for removing the battery.
 
 
 
 
Spring Clip:
Lift up one end of the metal clip with the fine-point tweezers.  It will come out.
Screw-On Clip:
Remove the screws with a small screwdriver.  BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THEM! CAUTION: CLIP MAY SPRING OUT.  MAINTAIN PRESSURE OR SCREW ME BE EJECTED.
Permanent Clip:
Lift the outside edge of the battery out of its compartment with the small screwdriver.
Step #5 Test the Batteries
Test the batteries that are being removed from your watch.  If the batteries test good, there is something wrong with the watch.  Refer it to a professional watchmaker.
 
Step #6 Locate replacement batteries
Locate part number on battery that was removed, and find a replacement watch battery.
 
Step #7 Clean the battery compartment
Check the battery compartment and clean it of any dirt.  If there is corrosion, refer to a professional watchmaker.
 
Step #8 Install the new battery
IMPORTANT: Be sure to test batteries before installing.  Remember the watch won’t work if battery is put in wrong.

Place one end of the spring clip in place and firmly push the other end into its slot.  Mare sure the spring clip is in the slot to avoid bent spring clips.
Screw-On Clip:
Place the clip over the new watch battery.  Hold the screw with the fine point tweezers to start it in the hole.  Tighten the screw.
 
Step #9 Close the watch 
 
 
 
 
 
 
IMPORTANT: If there is a rubber sealing gasket in the back of the watch, make sure it is lined up properly before closing the back. Snap a metal adapter that is slightly smaller than the watch back into the upper jaw of the press. Place the support plate into the bottom of the press and fit a plastic ring adapter large enough to hold the watch into the support plate. Place the watch face down into the plastic ring adapter and press gently on handle until the watch snaps into place. 
Step #9 Clean the watch
Gently wipe the watch to remove any fingerprints or smudges. 
Step #10 Reset the watch
Reset the watch and make sure it’s working.
 
Hatch Back Replacement Guide
Tool Needed:  Tweezers, battery tester, cleaning cloth, polishing cloth.
 
Step #2: Place watch in holding case
Clamp the watch in the case holding vise by opening the two halves of the black and placing the watch in the middle.  Gently replase or tighten the two halves to that they hold the watch firmly.

Unscrew the hatch counter-clockwise by turning the a coin in the slot.  Once the hatch is loosened, finish unscrewing and remove with fingers.  Be careful no to let the battery fall out yet.

Important: Before removing the battery(s), be sure to note which side is up.  You will need to put your new watch battery in the exact same way.  To remove the battery, simply surn the watch over and it should fall out.  If the battery is stuck, you can gently pry it out with plastic tweezers.
Step #5 Test the Batteries
Test the batteries that are being removed from your watch.  If the batteries test good, there is something wrong with the watch.  Refer it to a professional watchmaker.

Place the rubber-tipped opener in the middel of the watch back.  Press firmly and turn counter-clockwise to remove watch back.  Note: You can also use a case wrench to remove the back.
