Testing results with my Canon A540 digital camera. I am able to get 20 to 30 more shots with the Amstron AA compared to my Sanyo eneloops. I haven't had these batteries to test out true self life yet, but batteries came ready to use. My battery tester read 80% charged on the meter out of the box. Mel
