What a breath of fresh air after reading all the horrible reviews of Dell's overpriced, underperforming batteries. I haven't had any real problems with the original 6-cell battery that came with the Dell D620. But this 9-cell Amstron has been really great, giving me at least 5 hours when fully charged. Some people reported they don't like the built-in wrist rest that extends out about an inch, but I find it's more comfortable than having my wrists against the sharp angle of the laptop. The only problem to beware of if you're buying this is to check whether it will still fit into your laptop case if you have a snug one. So far I'm very pleased with this battery after 2 weeks and hope I'm as happy with it after 7 months as Chris (above) has been.

My order with Dell was on perpetual backorder. I was a little hesitant with ordering a non Dell brand battery. I am very pleased going with the Amstron battery. This is a extended battery which is giving me the run time I need. It has been 7 months since i purchased this battery is still performs like the first day. I highly recommend this Amstron replacement battery for Dell Latitude D620 users.
