Hi sir, same problem of Omar and my laptop model number is Dell Inspiron 1300 my battery information is: Dell part numbers HD438, Rating 14.8 volt, Capacity 29WH, when i search i find just that battery information Voltage: 11.1V Capacity: 56 Wh if i replaced by last one may be fire my laptop, Please i need your advice, Thanks for your help.

Dear Sir, i have the same battery but the voltage is higher than this one! 14.8 v / 29wh so my question is what the deference betwen them?
AtBatt Team: Hello Omar- At one point in time, Dell changed the chemistry of this battery to lithium-ion. This caused both the voltage and the WH's to change. If you provide me with the model number of your laptop, I can verify that this is the correct battery for your current model. Since these are OEM Dell batteries, I have no doubt that it will be compatible to your laptop, once we can verify that the battery is correct.
