FDA 510(K) Approved - MedTronic/Physio Control AED LP5 & LP10 Rechargeable Battery from AMCOChemistry: NiCDRating: 12V 1.3AhBattery LIfe: Up to 5 years or 750 cyclesCharging temperature range:+5°C to +35°C (41°F to+95°F)Operating temperature range:0°C to +50°C (32°F to+122°F) Storage temperature range: 0°C to +35°C (32°F to+95°F)
Expected Capacity: When optimally maintained, this new Nicad battery pack has a capacity of 1.5 Amp hours, which is equivalent to about 25 discharges at 360 joules. It is important to know that just turning the AED on uses up battery capacity. Also, each year, battery capacity decreases while the battery is in the AED due to the normal self-discharge rate.
Shelf Life: A new NiCD battery pack has a shelf life of five (5) years stored at proper temperatures. Shelf life is defined as the length of time a battery can be stored, prior to installation into AED, without degrading its performance. Proper storage temperature is between 0°C to +35°C (32°F to +95°F).
Recommended Replace Interval: Three (3) year or 750 charge/discharge cycles, depending upon usage. (see Useful Life and Expected Capacity)
Proper Maintenance: Exercise NiCD battery once per month (Discharge/charge cycle).
