It’s called Lithium Titanate. This new battery technology utilizes nano-technology to make anodes with an enormous surface area free of carbon. According to Altair Nanotechnologies Inc., these new batteries have a calendar life of 12 years and can be recharged 18,000 times. You can also recharge them above 80% in as little as 10 minutes.
