Asus Turns to China for Laptop Batteries

Based in Taiwan, Asustek has been providing innovative IT solutions to consumers and businesses since 2002. Although this company has only been around for 6 years, they prove that age is just a number with there rapid success in the computer industry.

The increased popularity in their ultra portable Eee PC has created a shortage of Li-Ion battery packs to equip their laptops with. Asus has been getting their battery packs from their manufacturing plant in Taiwan. Since they can't produce the same amount of batteries to match the demand for their laptops, Asus has turned to Chinese suppliers in order to have enough components for its portable PC line-up. The company has made sure the batteries bought will be up to par with its quality standards so whisk those worries away.

In the end, this is probably the most beneficial problem a company could have.
