Jet Ski Batteries

With summer approaching, many of us have plans to enjoy ourselves and let loose. If you're planning on going jet skiing, there's something you should know about the battery in your jet ski.

A jet ski battery works like a car battery. It starts the engine, and powers the headlights and all electronic components. The only difference is that car batteries are charged constantly by the car's alternator, whereas jet ski batteries are not. It is not necessary for jet skis to have an alternator to charge their batteries because they take up less energy. However, this doesn't stop the batteries from completely losing their charge.

It costs about $80 for a new jet ski battery. A more reasonable alternative would be to buy a battery tender and use it to charge the battery over and over again. It saves you money, and it's more convenient.

Our battery tenders are designed to charge rechargeable SLA batteries and keep them at proper storage voltage so that they do not lose capacity over time.
