Renewable Energy Battery Storage by Aide Solar

[ 1 ] April 28, 2010 |

What to do when the wind dies and the sun goes down has always been the major obstacle standing in front of the widespread use of solar and wind energy. Batteries designed to store these renewable energies are continually evolving however, as evidenced by the Aide Solar battery for solar energy storage. Aide Solar unveiled the batteries at Solar Power International 2009.

The batteries store the power derived from solar panels during the day for later use. The battery has 2000 charge cycles and a 6 year battery life, and the battery charges much faster than conventional ones. Furthermore, the battery can be recycled after its use.
