Blackberry’s smartphone models are no exception, which is why a new software called PowerControl is garnering the interest of Blackberry owners far and wide.
PowerControl helps you automatically shutdown and power off at whatever scheduled time you specify. It allows you to set up a power off and on schedule from Monday to Sunday, as well as set up a different schedule for each day. The thinking is that each person has a fairly consistent schedule from week to week. Being that most people rarely ever turn off their smartphones, which means the device’s battery is constantly being used even though the device isn’t, the use of PowerControl will extend the life of the battery and keep it performing at a high level for a longer period of time.
