Apple’s Low-Budget $999 MacBook Features 7 hr. Battery Life
You may have seen the television commercials depicting Apple’s laptops as too expensive and out of reach for the average joe. And while many of Apple’s top of the line computers do come with a hefty price tag, the American consumer electronics manufacturer has just unveiled it’s most inexpensive laptop computer to date; one whose battery packs a serious punch.
The new polycarbonate unibody design Macbook, currently available at a very reasonable price of $999, features an LED-backlit display, multi touch trackpad and 7-hour battery; all of which are featured on the higher priced MacBook Pro models. Of note is the built-in,60WHr lithium polymer batterythat gives the MacBook a very respectable 7 hours of use in between charges. Add one of the many battery-extending accessories that have been released for Macbooks, and you have yourself a day’s worth of laptop use without ever needing to plug-in.
