The Lava Lamp of iPhone Battery Applications

If you love lava lamps, iPhones, and applications that keep track of your battery life; this one’s for you.

One of the latest apps released for the purpose of keeping tabs on the battery life of your iPhone adds a little flare to an otherwise mundane task. This particular iPhone app, the All Power Pro, uses a simulated plasma image to display the amount of time available to the iPhone user. Just to make sure the user gets an accurate reading of how much juice is left on the battery, All Power Pro will display the actual percentage of charge with a quick double-tap to the screen. Cultofmac notes that the plasma flows with gravity or taps to the screen that set off little plasma explosions. It also estimates how much juice you’ve got left for talking, listening to music, or surfing the web.

So although All Power Pro won’t do much to remedy the notoriously weak battery that comes with the ultra-popular iPhone, it will definitely make battery-percentage watching a whole lot more aesthetically pleasing.
