When Vacuum Cleaners Become Pregnant: The Battery-Powerded Ergorapido
While it may have the appearance of an appliance that’s ready to give birth at any moment, the latest AEG Ergorapido 2 in 1 battery-operated vacuum is making house-cleaning a little more convenient.
The pregnant look of the Ergorapido comes from the hand-held mini-vacuum in the handle of the appliance. Among the other features touted by the Ergorapido, and as noted by gizmag, is the front LED light on the floor nozzle which leaves no dusty dark spaces safe from being cleaned.
Especially of note on the Ergorapido is it’s ability to be operated without being plugged in. All of it’s models, the Ergorapido AG901, 902, 903 and 905 as well as the Ergorapido plus, can be run off of rechargeable batteries, allowing the owner to operate the appliance anywhere, anytime.
With the 12-volt rechargeable battery, 80 square meters can easily be vacuumed, depending on the power setting chosen, without any cable getting tangled. This is equivalent to around 20 minutes of vacuum cleaning….The exceptional power, endurance and durability of the practical helper were enhanced even more for the Ergorapido plus with an 18-volt lithium ion rechargeable battery. The Ergorapido plus hence outperforms its sister models by 20% and floors can be powerfully cleaned for about 30 minutes.
The Ergorapido is currently being featured at the IFA Consumer Electronics conference in Germany. Pricing is currently set at $227 for the Ergorapido AG901, 902, 903 and 905 models, and $300 Ergopradio plus. The appliance is due out in November.
