Battery Life or Speed? New Lenovo S12 Gives You Options
If you happen to be an owner or prospective owner of the new Lenovo S12 netbook; you have a decision to make…
Lenovo is now offering the S12 with a VIA Nano ULV 2250 processor with Chrome9 HC3 graphics. This would replace the standard Intel Atom and GMA 950 S12 setup and will sell for $450; $50 less than the original $500 price tag. Sounds pretty good right? The drawback with the new VIA Nano option is that while offering it’s users the extra speed, it consequently drains the battery faster than the original Intel Atom and GMA 950 combination.
So do you go for speed? Or is battery life more of a priority? Or why not just go for both? With the quicker Nano version of the S12 costing $50 less, you can turn that savings into an extra battery for your Lenovo and get the best of both worlds.
