Superior Battery Adds to iPhone 3G S Rage
The newest, fastest version of the iPhone yet, the iPhone 3G S, has taken the world by storm over the past few days. Since being launched this past Friday, Apple is reporting over 1 million units sold. In addition, six million customers have downloaded the new iPhone 3.0 software in the first five days since its release.
“Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever.”
One of the biggest factors in the iPhone 3G S’ success is the improvements in battery life featured by the 3G S. It’s built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery outperforms the last version of the iPhone 3G, and also comes with the option to show your battery life in a percentage as opposed to the standard battery indicator.
Battery life has been the one of the greatest issues with the world’s leading smartphone. It appears that Apple is clearly working to remedy that issue.
