Heads Up Nokia Users!

Nokia BP-6M Battery
If you happen to be a proud user of a Nokia cell phone, you may want to check out the battery and make sure it’s not starting to swell up on you. It’s nothing much to worry about, your phone’s not going to randomly explode on you while you’re on a call, but the expanding battery can possibly end up making it difficult, and even impossible to close the case on your phone.
Nokia is aware of this issue and is willing to remedy it by allowing users to bring in their phones to the nearest service center and receive a new battery. The battery in question is the BP-6M and is used in many of their products. Some of their devices that use the BP-6M are the Nokia 3250 Xpress Music, Nokia 6151, Nokia 6233, Nokia 6234, Nokia 6280, Nokia 6288, Nokia 9300, Nokia 9300i, Nokia N73, Nokia N73 Music Edition, and Nokia N77. If you happen to have purchased any of the aforementioned devices, take a quick peak and make sure the battery hasn’t increased in it’s size.
Thank goodness the BP-6M is just a minor inconvenience and not the potentially dangerous battery that BL-5C was not too long ago. Heavens knows none of us need an exploding cell phone near our heads!
