Rechargeable Batteries, Real Simple and Real Green
Many of us have numerous devices including children’s toys that require AA, AAA, C, D and 9-volt size batteries. If you have children then you know how quickly you can go through all of these. Of course you’ve heard, seen and probably used rechargeable batteries, but perhaps you can do a little more research to find ones that are easy enough for you to use and recharge in order to help reduce battery waste by reusing rechargeable batteries.
Several manufacturers such as Amstron offer convenient USB chargers for AA and AAA batteries as well as battery converter kits so you can simply buy AA rechargeable batteries and use them like AA, C or D size batteries. This is done by putting the AA rechargeable batteries in a C size or D size battery converter / adaptor. This is a much more affordable approach than purchasing all those AA, C & D size alkaline batteries.
