Rayovac takes its name after vacuum tubes and electron rays from year 1930, then a major breakthrough in technological advancements. Founded in 1906, Rayovac has been manufacturing various patented consumer batteries for flashlight, hearing aids and computers. Today, Rayovac manufactures disposable and rechargeable consumer batteries ranging in sizes from AAA to 9V and OEM brands such as some of the Enercell™ batteries for RadioShack®.
