Quick Overview

6V AGM Golf Cart Battery

Amstron's AP-GC2 offers several advantages over both conventional flooded batteries and gel cell batteries. Because of its AGM technology, the AP-GC2 is truly a hassle free battery. You will never have to worry about maintaining water levels or accidental spillage. Additionally, since there is no free liquid, this battery will not be damaged if frozen, our GC2 AGM battery is rarely damaged by freezing temperatures.

The battery has also been designed to reduce heat generation during the charge and discharge cycles, providing you longer and more reliable cycle life. The AP-GC2 also has low self discharge rates, allowing the battery to be stored for longer periods of time without the need of a boost charge.

It's superior design provides less than 4% gas emission, allowing the AP-GC2 to be used in aircraft applications and in areas with enclosed spaces (but not in sealed or gas-tight containers). It's plates are constructed, rigidly mounted and tightly packed to withstand shock and vibration; giving you years of reliable, dependable and maintenance free use.

6V Golf Cart Batteries for my Motorhome

by Danny Mich. from Raleigh NC (Posted on 12/8/13)

I wanted better performance from my batteries when I dry-camped. The stock 12V batteries that came with my class 31c wasn't performing to my satisfaction. I could not go a whole night without having to rely on the generator which didn't make my neighbors happy. After talking with with someone at Camping World and researching online, I took the advice of going with 6V golf cart batteries. A lot of people recommended the Trojan T105 batteries. However, my batteries are situated in a spot where there was limited vertical clearance. So checking the battery fluid and watering these T105 batteries would have been very difficult. So I settled on maintenance free AGM Amstron AP-GC2. These batteries have been performing flawlessly for the last year and half. The run time compared to my 2 12 Volts is probably 3 times. The batteries still give me same run time compared to last year. Another thing that I really like about this battery is really slow voltage drop during storage. I log my voltage everytime I get my RV for a trip. One time after 2 months of storage, the voltage went from 12.8 to 12.72 in between no usage. Which is incredible compared to my starting battery which had a delta of .43 voltage. I would definitely a fan of these Amstron GC2 batteries.
